Back to School

Summer has come to a close, and school is back in session-for professionals and students alike. In the storm water and erosion control industry, professionals are planning their remaining Professional Development Hours (PDH) for the year and seeking information on the latest industry developments. Every year at SWS, when we survey our readers, we find that education is a high priority. We have made it our mission to be the number one industry resource so you can stay educated on trends and changes.

The annual Case Book is one way we do this. It offers a series of case studies on recent applications of both seasoned and new storm water and erosion control products and services. I hope that these application stories both inform your work and peak your curiosity.

In addition, here at SWS, we want to provide ample educational opportunities in the form of PDH credits, as well. Before 2019 comes to a close, earn your remaining credits at two of our upcoming events: the first-annual Infrastructure Virtual Summit and the annual SWS Conference & Exhibition. SWS partnered with sister publications Roads & Bridges and Water & Wastes Digest to bring you the free, online Summit this October. It will feature three days of live keynote webinars covering transportation and water infrastructure from the comfort of your home or office. Then, in November, the live SWS Conference & Exhibition will offer even more PDH opportunities over two and a half days of networking, educational sessions and more. Are you looking for other educational opportunities? I want to hear about it!
